Description:
The monument is situated in the Jewish cemetery.
It is a granite stele of irregular shape with a Star of David, a Yiddish inscription in the center, and a Lithianian one underneath.

Translation: At this place, / Hitlerite murderers and / their local helpers, / in 1941, murdered / the Jews of Troškūnai, / men, women, children.

On July 10, 1941, local white armbanders killed 8 or 9 Jewish men on the premises of the local school. In mid-July local white armbanders shot 5 or 6 Jewish men at the Jewish cemetery.
A monument was erected in the early 1990s, by the Jewish Community of Lithuania.
On September 27, 1996, the monument was registered in the State Cultural Register of the Republic of Lithuania of national importance (no. 20715).
