Description:

Two metal plaques are attached to the wall of the former synagogue.

The upper one features the coat of arms of Slatina and a Croatian inscription. The lower one features a Star of David and an identical Hebrew inscription. The inscriptions do not mention the Holocaust.

Translation: This was the synagogue of Slatina Jews and was built in 1884. The memorial plaque established by the Jewish community of Virovitica and leadership of the town of Slatina. In Slatina, 2008.
