Jewish Funerary Art Jewish cemetery in Novozlatopil (Polohivskyi raion), Ukraine
According to ESJF European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative, the exact period of the cemetery's establishment is unknown. Given that the oldest preserved tombstone dates to the early 20th century, it can be gathered that the cemetery was founded in that era. It cannot be found marked on old maps of the region. The cemetery is divided into two sections, most likely pre-war and post-war parts. There are about 20 tombstones. Many stones are buried or broken.
Date of the oldest tombstone: 1909
Date of the latest tombstone: 1953
To reach the cemetery, drive from the southeastern exit of the village of Novozlatopil towards the village of Liubymivka, drive for 400m south along a dirt road, then turn right, continue for 570m and then the cemetery will be on the left hand side.
