The tower shaped spice container consists of a receptacle, an apex and a shaft. The rectangular receptacle sits on a square platform with scalloped edges that are composed of inverted C-scrolls. The walls of the receptacle bear an intricate floral and scroll design and there is a arched door with a latch on the front wall. A cylindrical undulating pillar is attached to each corner of the receptacle. The pillars are surmounted by a globular ball with a wavy flag attached to it. The receptacle has a conical roof that tapers towards the top and widens once more into a cylindrical unit that tapers and is surmounted by the apex. The apex is composed of a wavy flag with an inscription situated between a globular ball on bottom and a bud on top. The inscription is inscribed on both sides of the flag in square linear letters and reads on side a: "The year 1720 =[5]480". And on side b: "Rabbi Leib Yentel". The receptacle is supported by a shaft shaped like a cone that emerges from a ring. The round base has scalloped edges and rises towards the shaft in a cone that terminates in the aforementioned ring. The base and shaft bear the same intricate design as the rest of the spice container.
