The kiddush cup is composed of a receptacle and a lid. The receptacle is composed of scalloped ridges with a repetitive roase and leaf motif around the center. The lid repeats the scalloped design of hte receptacle and rise to a point in the center. The tip is decorated with a floral and leaf motif.The handle of the cup is connected to the receptacle and to the lid and resembles a vine. There is a dedicatory inscription on the bottom of the receptacle in square filled letters which reads: " נעשה מקופת דג"ח )דגמילות חסדים( ח"ק )חברה קדישא(/ער"ה )ערב ראש השנה( שנת תרי"ן לפק )לפרט קטן(/ע"י )על ידי( הגבאים כהר"ר )כבוד הרב רבי( וואלליס/התו' )התורני( מו"ה )מורנו הרב( יעקב דוד ארנשטיין/כ"ה )כבוד הרב( יאקב עפשטיין ב' )בן(הרש/ פאלנוער כ"ה )כבוד הרב( אלי רייך/כ"ה )כבוד הרב( ליב היימער/בבהכ"נ )בבית הכנסת( הישנה טרעביטש/ע"י )על ידי( הצורף כ"ה )כבוד הרב( יעקב בראק" " Made from the charity of the benevolant society and the burial society on the eve of the new year [5]640=(1880) by the sextons the honorable Rabbi, Rabbi Wallace the learned in Torah, our teacher Rabbi Jackob David Erenstein, the honorable Rabbi Jackob Epstein son of Hersch Palnoyer, the honorable Rabbi Eli Reich, the honorable Rabbi Leib Heimer in the old synagogue of Trobitz, by the silver smith the honorable Rabbi Jackob Brack"
