Description

The monument is located in the Jewish cemetery in Ustia Zelene. It is a tombstone-shaped stele with a round top. Ukrainian and English inscriptions are carved on one side of the monument. A Magen David, a Hebrew inscription, and a list of the Victims are carved on another side.

TranslationIn the memory of the holy Martyrs Jews of Ustia Zelene that were ruthlessly killed by the Nazi murderers

English:

In the memory of the holy
Martyrs Jews of Ustia Zelene
that were ruthlessly killed
by the Nazi murderers

Hebrew:

למזכרת עולם
פה נרצחו יהודים מכפר זה בלתי
ידועים בשמם בימי השמד תש”ד
ואלה מאנשי הכפר שלא נקברו פה
שנהרגו על קידוש השם 

[followed by the list of names - family names in written in Latin and Cyrillic letters, first names - in Hebrew letters]

Translation: To the eternal memory / here were murdered Jews, who we do not know by name, from this village, in the years of butchery 1943 / and here are names of people that were not buried here / that were killed for the sanctification of the Name. [Followed by the list of names]

According to the photo, the first memorial in the Jewish cemetery in Ustia Zelene was erected before 1998. Apparently, it does not exist now. Later in the 2010s, another monument appeared in the cemetery with very similar inscriptions to those of the first monument.
