The silver Torah Pointer consists of a bar, a pointer and a hanger.
The bar is divided into upper and lower arms by a globular joint. The upper arm is tapered and has four facets. Two of the adjoining facets vear an inscription written in square filled letters. It reads:
"וזאת התורה אשר שם משה ## לפני בני ישראל על פי ה' ביד משה" )דברים ד' מד'(##
"And this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel (Deut. 4:44). It is in accordance with the Lord's command through Moses."
"תורה צוה לנו משה ## מורשה קהלת יעקב" )דברים לג' ד'(##
"Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob." (Deut. 33:4).
The lower arm is cylindrical and has a double spiral line. A conical cuff covers its lower part. The lower globular joint has a ring around its center. A larger joint surmounts the bar. The bottom half bears a geometric, "fish scales" design. The design on the upper half consists of a foliate motif. A ring hanger is attached to the upper joint.
The bar terminates with a clenched hand with a sraight index finger pointer and a raised thumb.
