The silver Torah shield is rectangular and terminates with a semi circular arch. A rectangular palque is located on the center it consist of a dedication inscription written in six lines and in square outlined letters. It reads:
זאת נדב האלוף המרומם נחום כמהורר [בן מורנו הרב רבי] כ דוד יצו [ינצרהו צורו וגואלו] בעד בנו הילד שלומה יי [אלוהים] יגדל לת ולחו למט [לתורה וחופה ולמעשים טובים]
"This was donated by the prominent Nahum son of our teacher the honourable Rabbi David, may his Rock and Redeemer protect him, for his son the child Shlomo, God will raise him to Torah, Hupa and to good deeds."
The plaque is surmounted by a crown and surrounded by a scroll with leafs. The Torah shield is framed by two bands. The inner one is raised and serrated and the external with serrated edges.
