The silver Torah shield is rectangular and terminates with a semi circular arch. A dedicatory inscription in a cartouche like with foliate scrolls from which two flowers emerge, reads in five lines and in square outlined letters:

ז"נ [זאת נדבת] / הילד / יהודא ליי[ב] / במ [בן מורינו] יוסף / סגל

"This is the donation of the child Yehuda Leib, a son of R. Yosef Segal".

The plaque is surmounted by a centeral flower with large petals and four foliate scrolls terminate with flowers that comes out of it. The bottom of the Shield bears another inscription in filled sqared letters. It reads:

שייך לב"ה [לבית הכנסת] דייאלוסדוועט[גראד]

"Belongs to the synagogue of Yelizavet[grad]".

The Torah shield is framed by two bends. The inner one is raised plain and the external consist of serrated edges.
