The rectangular horizontal wrapper encloses a rectangular core, which is topped by a "ח"- shaped strip terminating with fringes on its both sides. The strip is inscribed with a Hebrew dedicatory inscription written in square, filled letters that reads:

"With the Lord's help, this mappah (cloth) and ornament (takhshit; see: Remarks: no. 1) were dedicated by the Rabbi Raphael Yohanan Russo, may the Lord sustain and protect him, and by his wife Ms. Rebecca, blessed above women (Judg. 5:24) for the repose of their daughter Ms. Hannah, who passed away on the 7th day of Pessah(Passover) the year 5616 (26.4.1856), may it be His will that her soul will be bound up in the bond of life in the Garden of Eden. And due to this (donation) the Holy One blessed be He will fulfill their wish and give them sons, who will multiply (spread their seed) amen, may it be His will. (Donated) in the New Holy Congregation, on the new moon of Shevat, the year 5618 (= 16.1. 1858).”

The main cloth is decorated with a net pattern enclosing dots, while the core is decorated with branches with flowers and leaves.

A twisted cord forming ten suspension loops is attached to the upper rims of the wrapper.
