The silver Torah shield is rectangular and terminates with a semi circular arch.A dedication inscription is written in five lines and in square linear letters on a central rectangular plaque. It reads:

"This is the donation of the (?) Mordechai son of Rabbi R. Mattityahu for his son the child Mattityahu, may the Lord raise him to Torah, Hupah and to good deeds, amen selah."

Above the plaque there is a crown. The torah sheild is surrounded by floral scrolls, that come from a flower below the inscription plaque, and is framed by a band with smooth adges.
