The wooden Torah^case consists of a body and a coronet. The body is covered by blue velvet Two pairs of faceted annulets encircle the upper and lower borders of the body. The body is decorated by silver plates. An oval plaque is attached to each half of the body. It bears the Tablets of the Coveanat bearing the twelve commendmants. Above the tablets appears an inscription: כתר תורה !Crown of Torah!##The plaque is decorated with foliate pattern.##Triangle plaques decorated with foliate patterns are attached to the four corners of thecentral plaque. Siver wide bands encircle the border of the body. The bands are decoratedwith foliate pattern. A band bearing foliage pattern is attached between the lower annulets. A silver band bearing a dedicatory inscription encircle the upper border.##The case is opened with a decorated hook set on floral basis. Two pairs of hinges are in the back of the case. The inner face is plain wood. The hollow bottom has a oval hand holders. The hollows are covered with silver plates. The upper plateis decorated with geometrical pattern and the lower plate with foliate pattern. Two insert holes for the rods are at top of the case. The coronet is composed of ten facets. Each of the ten facets is covered with silver plaques and decorated with central cartouch surrounded by foliatepattern. A branch is attached between each facet. The dedicatory inscription is chaised in outline letters, and reads: זה סת שעשה הר אבהם שועה היו למנוח' \ אביו \ ראובן נע ואמו אסתר גיעא \נע תנצבה !This is the Torah made by the Rabbi Abraham Shu'ah, may the Lord protect and sustain him, for the rest \ of his father \ Reuben, may he rest in Eden, and his mother Esther Gi'aa \ may she rest in Eden may his soul be bound up in the bond of life!
