Each plate is decorated with a vase holding flowers within a cartouche-like frame. The plate's corners are decorated with a floral pattern. the plates are not a perfect fit upon the facets. Faceted annulets attached to the upper border bear decorative hemispheric hooks for hanging the Torah^case wrapper. The annulets bear remains of golden paint. The upper border of the facets ends in a dented crenellation. The bottom of the case is covered with silver plates.
