The wooden Torah^case consists of a body and a crown.##The cylindrical body is covered with purple velvet. Three silver frieze encircle the body, around its centre and the upper and lower borders. The central frieze is decorated with a foliate and floral pattern. The upper and the lower friezes bear a dedicatory inscription. Two silver cartouch-shaped plaques cartouche are attached to each quarter of the body. They are decorated with a vase of flowers.##The body's upper border is surmounted by a lily-like crenellation in which red plastic beads are inserted. ##The case is fastened by two silver clasps. The inner face of the case is covered by brown Damask fabric. There are two insert holes for the rods. A yellow paper is attachedb Between the body and crown. It bears an inscription in red outline letters which reads: תורה צוה לנו משה מורשה קהלת יעקב (Deut. 33:4)##The onion-shaped crown is covered with purple velvet. Two silver heart-shaped plaques are attached to the crown's sides. They are decorated with a floral pattern. An undulating crest, mounted over the crown, ends in a drop-shaped apex. The crest is covered with silver plaques, decorated with a foliate pattern in vertical and horizontal bands. Ten chains hang around the crest's centre, carrying slit, drop-shaped bells.##Two iron rimon mounts are attached to the crown's side. ##The inner face of the crown is covered with a glass. A paper bearing a dedicatory inscription is inserted behind the glass. It is written in an arch-like frame, and two lines of flowers depict its edges.##The crest's inner face is covered by silver plates. The dedicatory inscription on the body starts at the upper border at the back. It is repousse in outline letters, and reads: תיק זה וספר תורה שבו למנוחת המרוחם הבחור משה אליהו אהרן תנצבה נפ' )נפטר( יום ה' ג' ניסן תרצ!ו !This case and the Torah scroll inside it are for the repose of the mercied youth Moses Elijah Aaron, may his soul be bound up in the bond of life (int.), passed away (int.) on Thursday the 3rd oif Nissan (5)696=(26.3.1936)! The inscription continues on the lower border at the front: על מנת בכל מקום שירצו בעלי הסת' )הספר תורה( להוציאו ולהניחו למקומות אחרים הרשות בידם ובכוחם !For the sake of the owners of the Torah scroll (int.) who want to take it out and put it in other places, the permission is in their hands and in their power! The dedicatory inscription on the inner face of the crown is written in black outline letters, and reads: וזאת##התורה אשר##שם משה לפני##בני ישראל##תיק זה וסת'##שבו למנוחת Deut. 4:44,##followed by: !This case and the Torah##inside it for the repose of!##The inscription continues on the left side of the crown: המ' )המנוח(##הבחור משה אליהו אהרן##תנצבה' נפטר##יום ה' ג' ניסן##שנת התרצ!ו !The late (int.) ##youth Moses##Elijah Aaron##may his soul be bound up in the bond of life (int.), passed away##on Thursday, the 3rd of Nissan##5696=(26.3.1936)!
