The rimon is made of silver and consists of a shaft and a body.

The shaft is a tapering cylinder, encircled by a ring at the bottom and at the top. It is surmounted by a half globular capital. The body has a flat hand shape. On top of each finger a ring is attached. A chain carring a flattened and slit drop bell is hung on each ring. Three similar rings and chains are attached to the palm of the hand. The palm of the hand is decorated by a Star^of^David in its center, encircled by several inscriptions which are engraved in outline letters. On both rimon in the centre of the Star^of^David the inscription reads: ציון !Zion! On both rimon, onone side Star^of^David is surmounted by an inscription, and reads: מגן דוד ! The Star of David ! An inscription engraved along the adges from the span towards the thumb reads:

כי מציון תצא תורה ודבר יהוה מירושלם !(Is 2:3, Mic 4:2)!

The dedicatory inscriptions are engraved, on the same side along the inscription below the Star^of^David, on one rimon it reads: שרה בת רפאל !Sarah daughter of Raphael! On the second rimon the dedicatory inscription reads: יצחק בר בנימין !Isaac Bar Benjamin! The back of the hand is similar to the palm, except the rings,chains and bells wich are attached only to the top of the fingers. The inscriptions engraved along the edges reads:

ברוך המקום שנתן תורה לעמו ישראך ברוך הוא

!Blessed be the Lord who gave his people Israel, the Torah, blessed be the Lord!
