The coronet-shaped Torah finial consists of a body.

The body is divided into a circumferential base topped by a main part. The base comprises two bands, bordered by a twisted protruding line. An inscription, written in Hebrew square filled protruding letters within the second band reads:

"נדבת כ"מר (כבוד מורנו הרב) יעקב שמשון אוטולינגי יצ"ו (ישמרהו צורו ויחיהו) היום י"א לחודש מנחם שנת התק"ע (5570)"

"A donation of the honourable our teacher, the Rabi Jacob (Yaakov) Samson (Shimshon) Ottolenghi (see Remark no. 1), may his Rock protect and sustain him, today the 11th in the month Menahem (Av), the year 5570 (30.07.1810)"

The cylindrical main part widens upwards and bears a depiction of Sanctuary Implements, enclosed within arches. The Implements, proceeding clockwise are the seven-branched Menorah, the Shewbread table, and the Jar of manna.

The seven-branched Menorah is composed of a central shaft flanked by six curved branches. Three round knops, alluding to the knops and flowers of theTempleMenorahare at the junction between the shaft and branches. Each branch ends with three small bowls, one above the other, terminating with flames.

The Menorah is supported by a base formed by two volutes, turned outside.

The Shewbread table comprises four columns, terminating with flame-like capitals, and a rectangular table, joined to their bases. Six semi-round breads, arranged in two vertical stacks are placed upon the table, between lateral columns. In the centre of the table are jar-like dishes of frankincense.

The amphora-like Jar of manna consists of a round base standing on a stepped pedestal and tapers toward the body. The rounded body bears slices on its lower part and has curved handles on both sides. It terminates with manna on a plate.

An arched stepped frame surrounds each Implement. It is formed by a row of protruding circles and terminates at the top with two volutes, turned downwards. Within each arch is a curtain, suspended on the frame and folded into semi-circles. The arches are topped by open acanthus leaves.

Three bells are hanged within openings between the Implements. The openings are framed by C-shaped scrolls and are surrounded by floral motifs, growing from the top of the frame and converging in a round rosette under each bell.

Garlandsof leaves decorate the body in the upper part. They are topped by varied floral motifs, forming undulating edges of the finial.
