Fol. 67: Two scenes are depicted one below the other, with the text in between. In the upper scene the raven is spreading its wings to fly like an eagle, and the dove is bidding him farewell. The caption above reads: "Image of the raven taking leave of the dove with wings spread, it flies ‘away as an eagle toward heaven’" (Prov. 23:5; צורת העורב מתפרד מן היונה ופורש כנפים, כנשר יעוף/ השמים; Loewe 2004, II:541).
In the following scene the raven, limping between two trees, regrets his departure. The caption above
reads: “Image of the raven regretting his move, ‘and he halted upon his thigh’ (Gen. 32:31(32) ; צורת העורב מתנחם על מהלכו, והוא צולע על יריכו; Loewe 2004, II:545).
