The blue Torah mantle consists of a cloth,a top and a lining. The cloth's front bears a dedicatory inscription in eight lines of square filled letters, surmounted by a crown, and reads: "אנשי##ח"ק)חבורה קדושה(חסד ואמת##ואחזת עולם##הביאו נדבה לה'##שנת##לעולם אשמור##לו חסדי##לפ"ק " "The people of the holy(burial?)society grace and truth and everlasting possession brought a donation to the Lord the year forever I shall preserve him grace (5)591, (=1831)" The date is based on the sum of punctuated letters. The central cloth is flanked by two vertical bands which bear a vertical decoration of vegetal motifs and a crown in its centre. The eliptic top has two holes for the staves and is decorated with a crown. Each of the four crowns is mounted over a band bearing the following inscriptions, which compose the phrase(from right to left): "כתר מלכות"##"כתר תורה"## "כתר כהונה"## "כתר שם טוב" "Crown of Kingdom", "Crown of Torah", "Crown of priesthood", "Crown of good name".(Based on Mishna Avot 4:13).## The central cloth and the top are framed by a fringed band.
