The silver Torah finial consists of a shaft,a body, a head and an apex.##The cylindrical tapering shaft is encircled at the bottom and top by rings. The shaft bears an inscription in square linear letters which reads from top towards the base: !בס!ט )בסימן טוב( מהק!ק )מהקהל קדוש( שלום יב!ץ )יראו בנחמת ציון( 72 אייר 0865! !In a good sign from the holy congregation Shalom may they witness the comfort of Zion 27 Iyar 5680 (1920)! The undulating globular body is composed of two semicircles joined by a band decorated with a pattern of crests. Five rings with bells are attached to the band.The upper and lower parts are decorated with bands of flowers and crests. The head is composed of a conical upper part, mounted over a semicircled lower part. The upper part is decorated with a band of flowers. The apex is missing.
