The brass Torah pointer consists of a bar,a pointer and a hanger. The bar is divided into an upper and lower part. The rectangular lower part terminates with a clenched hand with a crooked index finger. The upper part bears a dedicatory inscription in square linear letters, which reads from the hanger towards the lower part: "בע"ה )בעזרת השם( הקדש לק"ק )לקהל קדוש( ת"ת )תלמוד תורה( יב"ץ )יראו בנחמת ציון( ממני מ' )מרת( רבקולה בת בכור משה חאסון הי"ו )השם ישמרהו ויצילהו( ש' )שנת( 0665" "With the help of the Lord dedicated to the holy congregation Talmud Torah [Torah studies].................................from me Mrs. Rivkulah daughter of Bechor Moses Hason may the Lord protect him and save him the year 5660 [1900]" The upper part is decorated with geometrical designs and the inscription is limited in both ends by a rhomboid framed by strips. The upper part terminates with a loop hanger.
