Vol. II, fol. 13: At the upper part of the page, the initial word ”When (the Lord) created” (כשברא), opening the Positive Percept section, is written within a large rectangular panel in display script against alternating red and purple filigree triangles of foliate scrolls enclosing blue or red flowers and dots. The panel is decorated within and in the border, with twelve medallions, each enclosing a floral motif, a hybrid, a fowl or a dog in spared ground technique on blue, red, green and pink backgrounds. Flourishes extend from the outer medallions into the margins and between the text columns.
