The silver oval Torah shield consists of a plate

The center depicts a bouquet of three big flowers and leaves radiating from a big vase. The vase is decorated in its upper edges with a band of a grooved pattern and in its lower part with three rings surmounted by a row of pointed arches. The vase is mounted over a vertical medallion framed with a band of a grooved pattern . Two scrolls with leaves and flowers flank both sides of the medallion symmetricaly and continue on both sides of the shield as a frame to the vase.

The upper part bears a dedicatory inscription in two lines , in square filled letters. It reads from right to left in a shape of a trifoiled arch: "הק' )הקדש( לק"ק )לקהל קדוש( מזכה הרבים מ' )מרת( לונה לע"נ )לעילוי נשמת( רפאל פאלי כביי ובתו הנערה##מ' )מרת( אסתר רולה מב )מנשים באוהל( ש' )שנת( 4665" "Dedicated to the holy congregation exonerating the people Mrs. Luna for the exaltation of the soul of Rephael Paly .........and his daughter the girl Mrs. Ester Rola above women of the tent (Judg. 5:24) the year 5664 [1904]"

Five rings with chains are attached to the lower part of the shild. A long chain is inserted through two rings connected to both ends of the arch which tops the shield.
