The wooden Torah^case consists of a body and a crown.##The cylindrical body is covered with purple velvet . Silver friezes, bearing a floral pattern, encircle the centre and the upper and lower borders of the body. A heart-shaped silver plaque bearing a dedicatory inscription is attached on the left side of the body. The body's upper border is surmounted by a gate-shaped crenellation, bearing a foliate pattern.## The case has silver hook clasps. The inner face of the case is covered with textile. The onion-shaped crown consists of a main section, a crest and an apex.##The main section is covered with purple velevet. The crest is covered with silver sheets decorated with a floral pattern. It is surmounted by an grooved onion shaped element, at the centre of which fifteen chains carrying bells are attached. The apex is undulating. ##Two iron rimon mounts are fixed to the crown. A silver plaque shaped like the crown is attached at its innerface. On the right side it is decorated with the Tables of the Covenant, which are inscribed with the first words of the Decalogue. On the left is a dedicatory inscription. The dedicatory inscription on the plaque on the outer face of the body is engraved in filled letters, and reads: רגינה אשת ## המ! עבדאל ## כצורי יעקב ## עיני ## מב!ת )מנשים באהל תברך( !Regina the wife of ##the Mullah Abdal ## Kazuri Jacob E'ini ## blessed shall she be above women in the tent (int.) (Judg.5:24)! The dedicatory inscription in the inner face of the crown is chaised in filled letters, and reads on the left: תיק וספר תורה שבו##הקדישה אותם הגברת ##רגינה אשת המ! עבדאל ## כצורי יעקב עיני מב!ת )מנשים באהל תברך( !This case and the Torah inside it ##has been donated by Madam ##Regina the wife of he Mulla (int.) Abdal ## Kazuri Jacob E'ini blessed shall she be above women in the tent (int.) (Judg.5:24)!
