Sacred and Ritual Objects Torah coronet, Turkey, 1951
The silver cylindrical coronet is divided into two parts: a base and an upper part. The convexed base bears an inscription in square filled letters which reads circumferly:
"מתוקה שנת הבט נא השמימה וספר הכוכבים ויאמר לו כה יהיה זרעך לפ"ג )לפרט גדול("
"Sweet is the year look at the sky and count the stars......
The lower edges of the base are decorated with flowers. The upper part is decorated with nine arched windows. Each window bears an inscription in square filled letters which reads:
On the first window: "עטרת תפארת תמגנך" "A crown........."
Continues on the second window: "לעטרת צבי ולצפורת תפארה" "..............................."
Continues on the third window: "עטרת חכמים עשרם" ".................................."
Continues on the fourth window: "ועטרת זהב גדולה" "................................................"
Continues on the fifth window: "עטרת תפארת שובה" "...................."
Continues on the sixth window: "עטרת זקנים בני בנים" ".........."
Continues on the seventh window: "עטרת זאת של ע"ה דוד קוד ה"י!" "......."

The upper part of each of the windows is decorated with a hand. Between the windows there are leaves. The coronet has wavy edges decorated with a pattern of an ear-like shape and a three petals flower intermittently. The same pattern appears at the lower band of the upper part. A bar with two rectangular holes for the staves is attached across the lower part of the coronet.
