The rectangular Torah curtain comprises of a main cloth and a dedicatory panel.
The main cloth bears a decoration of floral motifs interlaced with architectonic, gate like, shapes.
A square dedicatory panel appears at the upper part of the main cloth. It bears a dedicatory inscription written in square filled letters and reads: “For the memory of Yehoshua son of / Nissim Kimchi who passed away / on the third day of the month Menachem Av / the year (5)689 = 9.8.1929 “
Hooks for hanging the Torah curtain are attached to its upper edge.
