The parokhet is made of brocade of gilded silver threads and brown velvet. The parokhet is rectangular and composed of seven pieces and a kaporet. A dedicatory inscription appears on the kaporet. The inscription is flanked by rampant crowned loins~ rising over a rectangular basis decorated with flowers. The lions are holding branches. A Torah^crown~ appears at top of the inscription. An inscription appears above the Torah crown: כ"ת "Crown of Torah(int.)" A fringes ribbon is attached to the borders of the parokhet and kaporet. The dedicatory inscription is embroidered in outline letters and reads: שייך ל % הראש##והקצין כבוד כ'ה מענדל נרו')נטריה רחמנא וברכיה(##בן כ'ה מרדכי ז"ל וזוגתו הצנועה##מרת גיטל תי')תחיה( בת כ'ה יעקב דוב ז"ל##מפה ראב שנת תקנח לפ"ק "Belongs to % the head##and the eminent the honourable Rabbi(int.) Mandel, may the Mercifrul One protect him and bless him(int.)##son of the honourable Rabbi Mordecai, of blessed memory(int.) and his modest wife Mrs. Gitel, may she live(int.) daughter of the honourable Rabbi Jacob Dov, of blessed memory##from here Rav (=Gyor), the year (5)558=(1798)"
