Description:

The monument consists of two assembled steel plates in the form of puzzle pieces. Three puzzle pieces are made of glass and look as is missing. The Star of David appears in the bottom one. On the concrete base, another steel plaque bears an inscription in German.

Inscription:

 Gedenken - Bedenken - Vergangenheit gedenken - Gegenwart bedenken - Zukunft denken

Translation: Remember - concern - remembering the past - considering the present - thinking about the future

According to the foundation website, https://www.gebedenken.at/, 

"The ARGE Commemoration and Concern is a private initiative that has set itself the task of dealing with National Socialism, the Jewish community in Hollabrunn, and the crimes of National Socialism as well as concerns about the past and present.

In 2018, the ARGE carried out an educational project. In the first phase, the project was a school project and had the goal of installing a memorial in Hollabrunn.

This memorial was ceremoniously unveiled on November 9, 2018." (80th anniversary of the November pogroms).

The memorial was designed by students from Bundeshandelsakademie Hollabrunn.
