Object Alone

The cylindrical cup shaped like a beer mug consists of a receptacle, a lid and a handle. The receptacle widens towards the bottom and is decorated with a foliate vine scroll. Above the scroll in threescenes are depicted in rectangular frames with cut edges. Each scene bears an inscription. The first scene depicts a large building with a weather vane on the roof and a tree on the left of it. The inscription underneath it reads: "Steinbad". The middle scene depicts a larger building with three stories and a lot of windows. There is a deicatory above the building which reads: "שנה טובה!/לחיים/דודי ודודתי!" "Happy new year! To life my uncle and aunt!". there is an additional inscription under the building which reads: "Ferrnhaus iu Teplitz". The third scene depicts a mountain with shrubs and animals on top. There are two flying birds in the sky and an inscription underneath the mountain which reads: "Schlolsberg". The lid is round and is connected tothe handle at the bottom of the receptacle by a rectangular unit.
