This Haggadah with its colorful cover utilizes the illustrations from the Amsterdam Haggadah in the tradition of thousands of Haggadot printed all over the world.
The firm of Joseph Lugassy began as a bookstore in Casablanca during 1924. Many items were printed specifically for him, but it appears that he himself became a printer towards the end of the 1930's. His firm developed into one of the largest Hebrew printers in Morocco. In 1948 the Lugassy family made Aliyah to Israel and established a bookstore in Jerusalem, an institution which continues to this day. In Israel as well printed items have appeared with the Lugassy firm as publishers.
