Post-war Synagogue in Deventer, The Netherlands

© Cube, via Reliwiki.nl, Photographer: Unknown, November 30, 2010

After the synagogue of the Golstraat was sold, a smaller synagogue which could contain approximately 80 congregants, was established on this location. Jewish religious services continued at this synagogue until 1984. Three years later, the building was sold and repurposed as a store.

The former religious function of the building can still be recognized as such by the Star of David in the window above the entrance door.
