The silver rimon consists of a shaft, a body, a head and an apex.## The tapering cylindrical shaft bears a dedicatory inscription. The body consists of a concave body base and a main section composed of six. These facets are decorated with an openwork floral pattern around an opening. A bell hangs within each opening. Six rings, from which bells originally hung, are fixed to the bottom of the main section. ##The head consists of a concave neck, decorated with eleven petals, bent outwards, and a conical upper part. A flat apex shaped like a Star of David surmounts the head. The dedicatory inscription on the shaft is engraved in linear letters, and reads towards the body: קל!ה )קודש לה'(##נדבת מרת אסתר כהן הי!ו )ה' יהיהו ויזכהו( לעלוי נשמת ##בעלה היקר המנוח מרדכי חיים כהן ז!ל ##בן מרים שננלבע )שניפטר לבי עולדמו( ביום יד אדר ב התשי!ד ##ת'נ'צ'ב'ה' )תהי נשמתו צרורה בצרור החיים( !Dedicated to the Lord (int.) ##donated by Madam Esther Cohen, may the Lord sustain her and grant her favour (int.), for the exaltation of the soul of ## her dear late husband Mordecai Haim Cohen, in blessed memory (int.)! !Son of Miriam, who passed away (int.), on the 14th of the second Adar 5714=(14.3.1954)## may his soul be bound up in the bond of life (int.)!
