Who is Commemorated

Jews of Dolní Kounice killed in the Holocaust

Description

This bronze wall plaque in the synagogue of Dolní Kounice lists 55 names of Jews from Dolní Kounice killed in the Holocaust.  The upper part of the plaque is decorated with Magen David and beneath it a dedicatory inscription.

The letters and Magen David are polished to shine and stand out from the duller background.
