A basket with pomegranates occupies the central medallion of the sixth row of the nave panel. The basket is trapezoidal and a narrow rectangular band forms the rim. A narrow arched handle projects up from the front right side of the rim to the back left side. Pomegranates and leaves fill the basket.

Material / Technique
The limestone tesserae are arranged in straight lines to form the shape and shading of the basket and curved lines to form the shape and
shading of the fruit. The basket is outlined by one line of brown tesserae. One to three lines of background tesserae surround the
basket and one to two lines follow the medallion frame. The density per 10cm2 is not uniform. The density is 10x11 for the basket and
10x12 for the pomegranates with a lower density of 10X10 for the background. The colors of the tesserae are off-white, white, brown,
dark pink, dark ochre, yellow and green.
