The third illustration shows four servants bowing before Haman who is a central figure of the composition. On the right, sits Mordecai who does not bow to the vizier. The scene is labeled ומרדכי לא יכרע ולא ישתחוה ‒ "but Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence." (Es. 3:3).

The Book of Esther in Hebrew

Text is printed on 8 parchment membranes with a total of 30 text columns with 14 lines per each, except for the column containing the Haman's sons section written in 11 lines divided into two half-columns.

The illustrations are designed by Ze'ev Raban (born Wolf Ravitzki). Each of them (except for the last one) is signed in print on the right and left corner with his pseudonym (Raban), and the abbreviated name of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem (Bezalel). Both words are written in Hebrew letters and are difficult to decipher.
