The rectangular Torah^case^wrapper is divided horizontally into three sections. The narrow central section is blue and has an arch. It bears the Tables^of^Covenant within the beginning of the^Decalogue. It is surmounted by a dedicatory inscription and mounted over the date inscription. The inscriptions are embroidered in filled and square letters in horizontal lines and read: !r!d )rac dym( nwiwv##ao nrzew gc`c##eape nkles d'ie )d' igide eiynxde(## ypz zxv`! Above: !Servant of the Lord Mkikets son of Maatuk Hadad and his son Mahluf, may the Lord sustain and protect him.!##Bellow: !The year (5)691 (1931).! Each of the two wider side sections are green and depict a vase with a foliate pattern flanked by two branches forming oval medallions. Two narrow bands divide the cloth and a wider band frames the cloth. The bands are brocading with repeating alternating ctescent, five point star (pentacle) and hamsa motives. Six loops are sewn to the wrapper's upper border. A narrow band with silver fringe surrounds the bottom half of the cloth.
