The pear shaped Torah finial consists of a shaft, a body and an apex.

The cylindrical shaft tapers towards the body. A ring appears around the shaft’s bottom while another ring appears at its top. A compressed globular capital surmounts the shaft. The capital is divided into two halves each decorated with a whorl of leaves, radiating once from the bottom and once from the top.

The pear shaped body is divided into two parts by a protruding ring.

The round lower part is encircled by several bands.  A whorl of leaves radiating from the bottom appears at its base. It is surmounted by a thin band of small diagonal leaves. A band decorated with a branch bearing flowers surmounts them. A wide band bearing a scrolled branch with flowers appears at the center of the lower part. It is framed by two narrow bands composed of small diagonal leaves. The central band is surmounted by a blank band.

The protruding ring is decorated at its top and bottom with a whorl of leaves. Six rings, carrying chains with grooved, drop shaped bells at their ends, are attached to the protruding ring.

The upper conal shaped part is encircled at its bottom by a winding branch bearing flowers, topped by a whorl of leaves radiating from the top.

An apex, mounted over a flower shaped disc, surmounts the Torah finial. It is shaped as a Star of David bearing the inscription “Zion” in its center.
