The silver goblet consists of a base and a body. The base is round and raised surrounded at the bottom by a ring.## The body is cylindrical. The upper border and the bottom have four arched sections. It is decorated with floral motif. Three cartouches depict the main part of the body, and they are encircledby foliate scrolls.## Between the cartouches are inscription which is engraved in filled outline letters, and reads. זאת התרומה## הרימו לה' נערי עדת ## קארלשטאדט תשמע רנתינו##יעלה זכרונינו##לפ"ק "THis is the donnation ## raised for the Lord" "The youth of the Karlstadt community." "May you here our singing ## May our memory will raise## (5)617 1857"
