The silver oval Torah shield consists of a plate.

The center depicts a bouquet of three big flowers,leaves and buds radiating from a big vase. The tappering vase is mounted over a convexed base. The upper part of the vase is decorated with a bouquet of flowers set between two parts of a dedicatory inscription in rounded letters in four lines which reads: "ממני עבד ה')השם(##אליה אלחאהלי##הי'ו)השם ישמרני ויצילני(##4665" "From me the servant of the Lord, Eliya Elchaly may the Lord protect him and save him 5664 [1904]" The upper edges of the vase is decorated with a grooved pattern. The upper and lower parts of the base terminate with rings. A vegetal pattern is set on the upper ring. Two joined roqias are set symmetricaly beneath the vase, from which scrolls with flowers, branches and leaves are radiating. The wavy arched upper edges are decorated with three smooth bands.

Five rings with chains are attached to the lower part of the shield. A long chain is inserted through two rings connected to both ends of the arch which tops the shield.
