The two facing full-page panels (fols. 155v-156) feature the Sanctuary Implements with Aaron the High Priest lighting the menorah.
Here the seven-branched menorah is depicted, flanked by two lions. Aaron, who stands at the top right of the opposite page (fol. 156), lights the menorah with a torch, held in his left hand.
The golden menorah consists of a central shaft and six curved branches with a base made of three legs whose ends are in the shape of lions' paws.
The lamps are lit and the flames turn inwards towards the central, vertical flame.
The base of the menorah is flanked by two rampant lion: the one on the right faces the menorah while the left one faces the viewer.
