Description

The memorial complex consists of a stone slope made of different horizontal slabs placed between two riverbanks, next to which, on the top of a hill there are five slabs with memorial plaques commemorating the victims placed on a plateau overlooking the river featuring different elements made of concrete, like half circles and stairways.

The commemorative inscriptions and the names of 214 victims, who have been identified, are carved on five suspended red marble slabs that are the central part of the memorial.

Beneath the dedicatory inscription on each slab are the names of victims, with Jewish victims written in Hungarian, and Serbians in Serbo-Croatian in Cyrillic
