Modern Jewish Art
  Landscape of Judea

© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Radovan, Zev, 02.1994
The picture represents a symbolic vertical-symmetric composition with a big three-part figure resembling an enormous wineglass on the long stam. It executed with black paint. The lower vertical part of the figure is painted against a bright-yellow background. Some figures formed from many-color triangles (blue, red, and black), many-colors small circles, and black signs imitated ancient Hebrew script are set to the left and to the right of the figure. Another one emerald-green triangle is "hafted" to the stam of the "wineglass". A many-colors fish (bright-brown body, blue and emerald-green details) painted in profile swims behind it from the left to the right. The upper horizontal part of the figure is painted against a blue background resembling the sky. Small light circles, light-yellow, blue end emerald-green triangles, and a big circle executed by red and blue concentric strokes is pictured here. In the very center of this part of the figure, above the fish and under the big circle, a relief mass of black, white , and red paint is placed.
