Fol. 5: A large simple panel in the middle of the page frames the instructions for the end of the second Eve of New Year and for the Morning service. It is decorated with simple motifs of circlets and buds and trifoliate leaves, while a running scroll of trifoliate leafs crosses the panel, separating the instructions in the upper part from the title of the “Reshut for Nishmat for New Year (attributed) to the late Rav Yoav min ha-Keneset (de Synagoga)” (רשות לנשמת ליום ראש השנה לכמה"ר יואב זצ"ל מן הכנסת), in the lower part. Two simple red ink panels frame two initial words at the right part of the text space. The upper panel encloses the word "Blessed" ברוך)) opening the Kiddush for the second Eve of New Year, its lower right corner is decorated with a larger trifoliate leaf within a triangular shape extending from a small ring. The one in the lower part of the page frames the opening word “I will bow” (אכרע) of the above mentioned prayer (Davidson, א3291), decorated with simple stylized buds. A similar panel also decorates the sentence of the instructions “(on) Shabbat but on the second eve (meaning: when the second day of New Year falls on Sabbath" (...שבת אלא בליל שיני) at the top of the page. Some words within the text are emphasized with a simple red line decorated with the recurrent motifs of stylized buds.
