Fragment of the western wall with the entrance. The decorative panel above the door consists of two floral rosettes (one of which was replaced by a window), under which is written an inscription, situated into the open decorative gates.
The inscription:
כל השערים ננעלו חוץ משער הדמעות (בבא מציעא נט א)
Two wide ornamental strips (borders) with a variety of floral and geometric patterns supported the entrance. The image of the stork with a snake in its beak surmounted the stripes.
The dedicatory inscription from the right framed by arch. The two - levels decorative frieze situated above the inscription’s panel. Upper level – heraldic lion and floral motives. Lower level - Predators bearing in teeth small animal.
The date of inscription – 1720.
