To the main object: Synagogue in Lendava, Slovenia

© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Kravtsov, Sergey, 2019.

The synagogue's interior is divided into vestibule and staircase in the west and the prayer hall in the east. Stairs, symmetrically arranged on south and north, are leading to the women’s gallery on the southern, western, and northern sides of the prayer hall. The gallery is supported by six iron-cast round Corinthian columns standing on octagonal pedestals. The columns' shafts are fluted, and their capitals are gilded. The gallery's parapet is decorated with gilded paneling. The hall is spanned with a flat ceiling. the semicircular window in the eastern wall marked the interior place of the Torah ark (like in Beltinci). Neither Torah ark nor bimah is preserved.
