The brass hanging back-walled Hanukah lamp consists of a row of eight oil containers and a back wall.

A row of eight round spouted oil containers is fastened to the lower side of the back wall. The architectural back wall is mounted over a horizontal bar. The back wall depictsf a tripod urn supporting a vase with a torch, flanked by two rampant lions. The composition is framed by rocailles and male figures at each side. The back wall is topped by a dome decorated with a conch pattern and bears a hanging hole at the top.

The object is identical to the Hanukkah lamp from the U. Nahon Museum of Italian Jewish Art, Jerusalem (CJA object 6724).
