Trencin Synagogue, designed by Berlin architect Richard Schneibner, was built between 1911 and 1913. The synagogue, an unusual combination of Byzantine and Art Nouveau design, was often described as one of the most beautiful in Hungary (later Czechoslovakia, today Slovakia).
Condition
The synagogue with the reconstructed interior was unveiled in May 2024. The exterior will be reconstructed during the next stage.
