Summary and Remarks

According to the inscription on the pair of wall tablets on the arch of the main door, the foundation stone of this synagogue was laid in 1799. The synagogue interior was damaged by fire in 1911. The new arrangement was installed in 1912. The Spanish stuccowork covering the walls and ceiling dates from 1950 (Kadish, p. 26).
