Summary and Remarks
In 1135 the Jewish quarter was abandoned. In 1145 the synagogue was donated to the Christian community, and the Santa María Jus del Castillo church was built on the former synagogue. Three of the four walls of the old synagogue are at the base of the current Santa María Jus del Castillo church. The synagogue was around 18 metres long and 10 metres wide.
The building was used as a church until the seventeenth century.
