Description:
The area is enclosed by a fence consisting of concrete posts connected by metal pipes on two levels. A border can be seen within the area, possibly marking the location of a grave.
Where the monument stands, the border curves in a semicircle, encircling the monument.
The monument is made of granite, with a Star of David carved on top and inscriptions in Yiddish and Lithuanian.

Translation: Here was spilt the blood of 300 Jews - children, women and men, whom Nazi murderers and their helpers brutally murdered in August 1941.

nužudė apie 300 žydų – vaikų, moterų,

Translation: At this place, Hitler‘s murderers and their local helpers murdered about 300 Jews – children, women, and men – in August 1941. May the memory of the innocent victims remain sacred.

In mid-August 1941, Lyduvėnai Jews, as well as Ribukai Jews and some of Šiluva Jews, were forced into a ring-fenced pasture. A few days later, they were marched to a gravel pit and shot. In all, about 300 Jews were shot.
