Description:

On the left side of the 1962 stele, there is a black granite monument standing on a small granite base. The monument is almost rectangular in shape, with the Star of David engraved on top and texts in Yiddish and Lithuanian below.

TranslationAt this place, Hitler’s murderers and their local helpers, on September 2, 1941, murdered 1,125 Jews – men, women and children.

Šioje vietoje hitleriniai budeliai
ir jų vietiniai talkininkai
1941. IX. 02 d. nužudė 1125 žydus –
vaikus, moteris, vyrus

TranslationOn September 2, 1941, at this place, Hitler’s murderers and their local helpers murdered 1125 Jews, children, women, men.
